Dr. Leonor Pagtakhan-So, M.D., is a physician specializing in the care of patients with asthma, allergies, and related respiratory and immunological conditions. She earned her medical degree from Manila Central University School of Medicine in 1965 and completed her pediatric residency and fellowship training in the United States. Since 1975, Dr. So has been serving patients in Eastern Kentucky, bringing decades of experience in diagnosing and treating asthma, COPD, allergic conditions, skin disorders, urticaria (hives), angioedema, and migraine headaches for both adults and children. Dr. So founded the Asthma & Allergy Center to provide personalized, compassionate care that helps patients better understand and manage their conditions. She is recognized in the community for her thorough approach, dedication to patient education, and long-standing commitment to improving her patients' quality of life.

Sarah Coleman is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing (2016). She has provided compassionate care to Eastern Kentucky families since beginning her nursing career in 2003 after earning her associate’s degree from Pikeville College.At the Asthma and Allergy Center, Sarah focuses on managing chronic rhinitis, asthma, COPD, chronic urticaria, atopic dermatitis, food allergies (including alpha-gal), and immune system dysfunction. Her approach to care is simple yet powerful: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” She believes open communication and shared decision-making are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients.Born and raised in Pikeville, Sarah takes pride in caring for her community and surrounding region. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her husband and three children, exploring Eastern Kentucky’s mountains in their side-by-side, relaxing at the beach, and attending First Baptist Church in Pikeville.
